What’s involved in a Roof Frame Inspection
Our roof frame inspection is the visual inspection of installed timbers or steel in order to support the roof cover and internal ceiling covers. The department of commerce reported a compliance rate of just 33% for roof frames for metal roof covers in 2016. AS1684.2-2010 and the BCA are used for inspection reference. A Roof Frame Inspection is a necessary requirement on a new home build and is conducted after the plate height is reached. When we inspect your roof we ensure the roof frame is completely straight, with no distortion or sagging, and is adequately braced with the correct framing anchor or nailing plates.
